The FHCC raised $100,000 at the Recruiting Wrap Up for our Scholarship Endowment!
Our big news is that we raised $100,000 at the Recruiting Wrap Up this year! The auction was phenomenal, and as always you and our sponsors were generous in support of our event. We are on track to reach $1 million in our endowment by 2025. For newer members, our endowment was created to provide need-based scholarships for students in Pickens & Oconee counties and Pendleton High School to attend Clemson University. We cannot thank you all enough for helping us make this event successful!

George Bennett
Congratulations to our member George Bennett for receiving the Bobby Richardson Sportsmanship Award from the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame. He will be recognized in May along with Jack Leggett and Lucas Glover who will be inducted into the SCAHOF.

Big Thursday News!
More exciting news…Offensive Coordinator Garrett Riley will be our guest speaker at Big Thursday on May 2. Also, we will have a special treat when Clemson fan extra-ordinaire George Bennett gives us a history of Fort Hill Clemson Club. A delicious catered meal will be provided by Catering, Inc. of Powdersville.

Sign up here. We expect a bigger than usual crowd at the Clemson UMC Family Center, and seating is limited. For this reason, we will open the doors at 11:00, then begin serving at 11:15. If you sign up and are unable to attend, please email us. We want our headcount to be accurate for food and attendance.

FHCC Community Service Day with Habitat for Humanity
We are joining forces with the Oconee County Habitat for Humanity to help build a house! Bring your muscles and join us for a morning of work, fun and fellowship as we give back to our community!

Dates: We have 2 dates to choose from: May 4 and May 11, 2024
Hours: 7:30 – 11:30 am, with 9:30 break
Location: Walhalla area (address sent closer to date)
What to bring/wear: old clothes/old shoes. All equipment needed will be furnished on the jobsite.
Number of volunteers per date: 8-12 per date

As we get closer to the build date, more information will be sent.

FHCC Bus Trip to the Clemson vs Georgia Football Game
What: FHCC Bus Trip to Mercedez Benz Stadium (Clemson vs. UGA)
Where: Clemson to Atlanta (lot 5 Memorial Stadium to Marshalling Yard)
When: August 31, 2024: Leave Clemson at 2:00 pm
Cost: $65/person roundtrip

FHCC Members & Friends,

Secure your Clemson vs. GA Football tickets (not included in bus trip cost). Bus capacity is 50 people, so don’t delay! Order Bus Tickets Here. Snacks & drinks available on bus. Bring your tailgate items for set up prior to the game. Small coolers and chairs can be stowed under the bus.
